The City of Renton's 2009 budget provides for up to $50,000 in matching funds for the construction and maintenance of an off-leash dog area. However, for every dollar that the city contributes, RUFF must raise an equivalent amount.
We realize it seems a bit strange to be asking for money for a dog park in this economy, but we truly believe building the park will bring the community together in a positive way, and the park itself will have a lasting impact on the quality of life in our city.
