The City of Renton and Renton's Unleashed Furry Friends (RUFF) invite you to the
Grand Opening and Dedication of the Cedar River Off-Leash Dog Park Saturday, September 19, 2009 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m Dogs welcome! Call Kris Stimpson at 425-430-6700 or visit rentonwa.gov for more details. Parking will be available on the west side of the Renton Community Center. In case of inclement weather event will be moved to the Renton Community Center. Leash-cutting ceremony begins at 10:15 a.m. Light refreshments will be provided. Contests for smallest dog, largest dog, best dog bark, best dog, best “Lassie”, “Rin Tin Tin” and “Marley” look-a-like, owner look-a-like and a “chuck-it” contest will be held. Donations of pet food will be accepted for low-income seniors with pets. A representative from Seattle Public Utilities will be on site to discuss the new broodstock salmon weir adjacent to the trail. |
